Adventure Canada has announced the return of its Ireland Circumnavigation cruises for the first time since 2012. The new itinerary will run June 9-20, 2019. During the cruise guests can see Tory Island, the Cliffs of Moher, Belfast and more from Ireland Circumnavigation.
The over 30-year-old family-owned expedition cruise line provides small ship trips to the Arctic, Greenland, Canada’s east coast, and European destinations. The company says going back to Emerald Island will combine all of what makes Adventure Canada distinctive, including celebrating the characters, cultures and experiences in the destinations it visits.
The Ireland Circumnavigations starts in Dublin on June 9, 2019, when cruise-goers get on Adventure Canada’s 198 passenger ship. Ocean Endeavour, to move around Ireland. Trips include sailing past the Skellig Islands (showcased in the Star Wars film The Last Jedi), the Dingle Peninsula, Giant’s Causeway and the Rock of Cashel, a historic site with Celtic art and medieval architecture. The sailing is also going to feature the Ring of Kerry, along with castles, cathedrals, national parks, Irish pubs, vibrant cities and villages, and the Cliffs of Moher as seen in The Princess Bride. These cliffs are up to 200 meters tall. Travelers can also experience Tory Island: an island housing a Gaelic community of less than 200 people with their own king.
From June 9–20, 2019, the 12-day Ireland Circumnavigation starts at $5,995 USD per person. The expedition begins and ends in Dublin, Ireland.
