AmaWaterways has announced its lineup of 2019-20 Africa Safaris & Wildlife Cruises. The brochure includes several returning favorites, as well as a brand new four-night post-cruise extension in Rwanda.Â
The all-suite, all-balcony Zambezi Queen will take guests down the Chobe River and offer up-close wildlife viewing. The 28-passenger ship has an open-air pool deck, where travelers take in 360-degree views of the Chobe River. The environmentally responsible eco-ship uses a jet propulsion system that preserves the riverbed and a solar heating system to supply guests with hot water.
New to the African itineraries is a land extension in Rwanda, which can be added to any of the African itineraries. During the extensions, guests will experience Kigali and Volcanoes National Park, which is home to rare mountain gorillas and golden monkeys.
Guests who book before April 30, 2018, will receive an exclusive early booking savings of $500 per person on any 2019/2020 Africa program.
