AmaWaterways Co-owners Rudi Schreiner and Kristin Karst will each lead a seven-night Founder's Cruise this November. Passengers will have the opportunity to meet and get to know the leaders of AmaWaterways in addition to following the company’s Danube Serenade itinerary.
Schreiner, the company’s president, and Karst, the executive vice president, will each host their cruise and will come together for one evening on each other’s ship. Guests can learn how their host got started in river cruising and what is coming for the company in the future.
The cruises leave November 17 and 18 and will sail from Nuremberg to Vienna. Along the way, they will stop in cities and towns in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria. When in Vienna, guests will have the opportunity to visit the city’s Christmas markets.
While aboard, passengers can participate in the company’s Wellness Program and attend group fitness classes. Off the ship, guests can go on hiking and biking trips.
Running for 16 years, AmaWaterways will be operating 23 ships in 2019 across Europe, Asia and Africa. The company offers trips along the Danube, Rhine, Moselle, Main, Rhone, Seine, Garonne, Dordogne, Dutch and Belgian Waterways, Douro Rivers, Mekong and Chobe. In 2019 the river cruise company will be introducing its newest ship, AmaMagna. The boat features a unique design with a width twice the size of traditional river ships.
