River cruise company AmaWaterways has released its 2020 preview brochure, showcasing the year’s full schedule of itineraries and activities. The lineup will feature several additions, including two new itineraries on the AmaDante and land excursions in Turkey and France.
In 2020, the AmaDante will sail the new seven-night Main & Rhine itinerary from Nuremberg to Amsterdam, which will be packaged with the optional pre-cruise “Golden City of a Hundred Spires” program in Prague. Two of the year’s sailings will also be part of AmaWaterways’ Wine Cruise program, where wine experts join guests and lead lectures and tastings.
The ship will also sail the new seven-night Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle cruise from Amsterdam to Luxembourg. Guests can start their vacation earlier with a two-night land program in Amsterdam, and then end it later with a three-night extension in Paris.
Passengers aboard AmaWaterways’ Gems of Southeast Europe and Grand Danube itineraries will be able to choose one of the company’s new land extensions: a three-night tour of Istanbul that highlights the city’s iconic cultural spots and includes a tour of Topkapi Palace. Guests on the Colors of Provence and Spain itinerary will also be to opt for a new land trip with AmaWaterways’ three-night extension in Nice, France, which will include visits to Aix-en-Provence, Monaco and Monte Carlo.
In 2020, AmaMagna will mark its second year of cruising. The ship will expand its presence in the lower Danube, sailing the seven-night Gems of Southeast Europe from Hungary to Romania and the 14-night Grand Danube Cruise from Germany to Romania.
