Boutique cruise operator Ambassador Cruise has launched “One Adventure - Two Wonders,” a new three-day itinerary that explores Vietnam’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Halong and Lan Ha Bays.
On the first day of the cruise, passengers board Ambassador Cruise I, which features 46 cabins, each having a private balcony or terrace, sundecks, a restaurant, piano lounge, bars, an open-air jacuzzi pool and a spa. Highlights include a buffet lunch with views of Halong Bay’s limestone islets; experiencing Luon Cave’s lake on a bamboo boat or kayak; visiting Titov Island and enjoying 360-degree views of Halong Bay at the island’s peak; and a chef’s special dinner onboard.
The following day, guests will explore Sung Sot Cave, Halong Bay’s largest cave with stalactites, before disembarking at Halong International Cruise Port. The itinerary includes a visit the Quang Ninh Museum and historical sites such as Bich Dong Pagoda. Passengers then set sail on the waters of Lan Ha Bay aboard Ambassador Signature Cruise to visit Viet Hai, a traditional fishing village.
Day three of the cruise includes an exploration of the Dark and Light Cave by bamboo boat or kayak. The cave features stalactites and leads to a lake surrounded by limestone cliffs.
Guests have the option of starting the second and third days of the cruise with a tai chi session on the sundeck, followed by breakfast at the piano bar and restaurant. Happy hour drinks and canapés, live music, spa treatments and squid fishing are also on offer during the cruise.
