American Cruise Lines’ newest ship, American Constellation, will set sail to Alaska for the 2018 summer season. With special cruise ship access to Glacier Bay from The National Park Service, American Constellation’s arrival will double the cruise line’s capacity in the region and help meet the increased demand for cruise travel to Alaska.
The brand new, 175-passenger ship is appointed with furnished balconies, full-sized bathrooms, and the largest staterooms of any small ship in Alaska. With the debut of American Constellation, American Cruise Lines will aim to provide guests an authentic Alaskan experience with its modern amenities and its award-winning enrichment and entertainment.
“We are continuously looking for ways to provide our guests with the most memorable cruising experience and this rare glimpse of the world’s most magnificent biosphere does just that,” said Charles A. Robertson, CEO of American Cruise Lines, in a written release.
Complimentary pre-cruise hotel packages are available for all cruises departing from Juneau, Alaska. Itineraries for American Constellation will range from eight to 15 days, with ports-of-call in places like Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, Petersburg, Kake, and Glacier Bay.
For every stop along the way, American Cruise Line will have complimentary guided tours of the area, as well as onboard historians, naturalists, and local experts to provide a more complete experience.
American Cruise Lines is recognized as one of the leaders in small ship cruising and the largest American-flagged cruise line. With over 35 itineraries, American Cruise Lines can take guests along the waterways of Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, the Mississippi River, and the East Coast.
