Atlas Ocean Voyages has added 26 expeditions for its newest yacht, World Voyager. Departing between March 2024 and October 2024, these expeditions will offer the line’s first Caribbean voyages along with South America itineraries to Argentina, Brazil and the Falklands. The 2024 season will also include Northern Europe journeys to Iceland, Ireland, England and Norway. New Arctic expeditions will take guests to Svalbard and Greenland, where they can take in the landscapes and spot wildlife.
New for 2024, the line has expanded its offerings with the addition of “Cultural Expeditions by Atlas.” The debut of these expeditions complements the existing “Epicurean Expeditions by Atlas” and “Polar Expeditions by Atlas.” “Cultural Expeditions” will provide guests with diverse perspectives, local engagements, folkloric experiences, art, architecture and museum visits. Guests enjoy a free cultural immersion tour, enrichment programs and exclusive onboard experiences on each voyage.
New “Cultural Expeditions by Atlas” include an eight-night “Spotlight on Brazil” voyage from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, departing April 5, 2024. The line offers two seven-night expeditions sailing the harbors of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean from Bridgetown or St. Maarten; departures include May 2 or 9, 2024. A transoceanic 13-night “Mystique of the Azores” itinerary sails across the Atlantic from St. Maarten to Lisbon and departs on May 16, 2024. An 11-night expedition, “Picturesque Peaks & Fjords,” highlighting the Norwegian fjords, sails from London to Tromso, departing June 10, 2024.
Additional “Epicurean Expeditions by Atlas” itineraries include a 10-night “Vineyards & Vignettes” expedition from Lisbon to London along the Western Coast of Europe, including overnights in Bordeaux and central London, which departs May 31, 2024. A southbound itinerary sails from London on October 2, 2024 for 12 nights.
Additional “Polar Expeditions by Atlas” include three nine-night Arctic expeditions sailing roundtrip Longyearbyen, Svalbard on June 28, July 7, or 27, 2024. Two 10-night expeditions showcasing Greenland’s glaciers will sail from Reykjavik or Kangerlussuaq on August 5 or 15, 2024.
In addition to the expanded itineraries, 20 new ports of call have been added, including Balneário Camboriú (Blumenau), Ilha Grande, Rodney Bay, Les Trois-Îlets, Pointe-á Pitre, Carambola Beach, Gustavia, Sandy Ground, Philipsburg, Lajes do Pico (Azores), Newcastle upon Tyne, Molde, Skarsvåg (North Cape), Qaqortoq, Paamiut, Akulleq Island, Waterford, Bantry, Falmouth and Poole. The line offers 12 combination voyages to complement the launch with added savings and extended expeditions of up to 21 nights.
