Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced that it is adding four more ships to its fleet. The adventure cruise brand's fleet will total five ships by the end of 2023, with the first ship, World Navigator, launching in mid-2021. World Navigator's inaugural season is already open for reservations. Travelers can choose among 10 itineraries, ranging from seven to 15 nights throughout the Holy Land and Eastern Mediterranean, Western Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
World Navigator is currently under construction. World Traveller and World Seeker are scheduled to launch in 2022, and World Adventurer and World Discoverer will launch in 2023.
The four new ships will allow the brand to expand its collection of global itineraries and offer more group and charter opportunities, said Brandon Townsley, vice president of sales and trade partnerships, in a written statement.
The new cruise brand is a subsidiary of Mystic Invest Holdings. In a recent interview with Travel Agent, Alberto Aliberti, the cruise line’s president, said that the brand will look to combine an onboard luxury product with “edgier” adventure travel offerings ashore, with an onboard community that will give guests who opt not to participate in the more out-there excursions the chance to hear from those who do.
For the inaugural deployment, Atlas Ocean Voyages is offering travel advisors an additional three percent bonus commission, for a total of 15 percent. Travelers will also enjoy early-booking savings of up to $2,000 per stateroom or suite, 50 percent reduced deposit and an additional 5 percent savings for sailing consecutive voyages.
The World Navigator’s inaugural voyage is scheduled to depart July 17, 2021, from Valletta, Malta, sailing to Athens (Piraeus), Greece.
