Celebrity Cruises has announced a new culinary partnership with Fine Cooking magazine and its Emmy Award-nominated public television series Moveable Feast. The cruise line and the food magazine are joining forces to introduce Moveable Feast with Celebrity Cruises.
To celebrate the partnership, Celebrity will launch two Moveable Feast Signature Sailings in winter 2017 and spring 2018. The voyages will have a culinary angle and onboard guests can interact with some of Moveable Feast’s most talented celebrity chefs.
The first voyage departs December 16, 2017, on a seven-night journey through the Caribbean. Guests of this itinerary will be island hopping aboard the Celebrity Equinox alongside Miami chef and James Beard Award winner Michelle Bernstein.
Guests can also take a seven-night getaway to Bermuda onboard the Celebrity Summit, with James Beard Award-nominated chef Bryan Voltaggio, departing April 29, 2018. On each sailing, guests can meet the chefs, attend chef-led cooking demonstrations and join the chefs on curated excursions, each with a gastronomical flavor.
In addition to the chef activities, Moveable Feast with Celebrity Cruises infuses Moveable Feast-inspired activities into Celebrity’s preexisting culinary experiences. Guests of the two sailings will also be able to participate in Moveable Feast Night in the main dining rooms on board. More opportunities from the partnership are to be revealed soon.
"We are excited to welcome Celebrity Cruises as the corporate underwriting sponsor of the upcoming Season 5 of Moveable Feast with Fine Cooking," said John Boland, SVP and Publisher of Fine Cooking Magazine. "Being able to extend the consumer experience beyond the pages of our magazine and television show to on-board culinary adventures with Celebrity Cruises, brings it to life in a unique and fun way."
