Celebrity Cruises announced its 2021 lineup of Galapagos sailings aboard the Celebrity Flora and Celebrity Xpedition. The two ships, both 100-guest mega yachts, will sail seven-night itineraries of the Galapagos Islands, with guests able to add pre- and post-cruise trips to Quito and Machu Picchu.
The Celebrity Flora will offer an Inner and an Outer Loop itinerary. The Inner Loop will feature stops in Baltra, Daphne Island, Santiago, Isabela, Bartolome Island, Santa Cruz, North Seymour Island and San Cristobal. The Outer Loop will visit Baltra, Daphne Island, Espanola, Floreana, Isabela, Fernandina and Santa Cruz.
The Celebrity Xpedition will sail a Northern and a Southern Loop. The northern option will stop in Baltra, Santa Cruz, Santiago, Isabela, Fernandina, Bartolome Island and Genovesa. The southern route will stop in Baltra, North Seymour Island, Santa Fe Island, San Cristobal, Floreana, Isabela, Santa Cruz and Espanola.
All of Celebrity’s Galapagos sailings can be combined with post- and pre-cruise excursions to Quito and Machu Picchu for a total travel package of 10, 11 or 16 nights. In Ecuador’s capital, guests will cross the equatorial line at the Half of the World Park and Museum and visit historic monasteries. In Peru, travelers can tour the ruins in The Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
The cruise line will debut the Celebrity Flora and introduce improved services aboard the Celebrity Xpedition later this year. The Xpedition underwent a seven-day renovation this past September that brought faster Wi-Fi and redesigned staterooms, lounges and restaurants. The upgrade coming later this year will introduce enhanced suites and amenities.
