A-Rosa's E Motion ship is slated to launch in 2021.
The new river cruise ship will sail the Rhine, offering itineraries with a number of city break options. It will have battery propulsion and air bubbles technology for sustainability, spanning approximately 58 feet in width and four decks.
All standard cabins are over 200 square feet. Each cabin has a separate sleeping and sitting area, a balcony, an LED TV, storage space and a bathroom.
There is also a dedicated family area with a Kids' Club and a sundeck with separate adults' and children's pools. The Kids' Club is still in the preparation stage, but it will likely include thematic areas for romping and climbing, handicrafts, reading and playing.
Other onboard amenities include restaurants, a bar, a fitness room, a spa and wellness area with sauna, a heat bench, an ice grotto and massage and treatment rooms. Also included is an elevator, and each cabin outside the Family Area has a balcony. Design of the new ship comes from customer feedback, the cruise line says.
A-Rosa offers a city break, a package holiday, a cruise that takes in natural and cultural sites, and a spa break.
