Costa Cruises is strengthening its programming for winter 2025-26 with two new itineraries in the western Mediterranean aboard Costa Toscana.
At the beginning of January 2026, Costa Toscana offers a new 12-day itinerary, departing from Italy’s Savona to explore Andalusia, Morocco and Tunisia. After departing from Savona, the ship reaches Marseille, Barcelona, Alicante and Malaga, where Moorish history blends with Andalusian energy. Guests will cross the Strait of Gibraltar to reach Tangier, with white alleys, the Kasbah and promontory of Cape Spartel. At nightfall, the ship reaches the Alboran Sea Darkest Spot in the Mediterranean to admire the stars and constellations. In La Goulette (Tunis), guests will stroll through the ruins of Carthage. The journey ends with stops in Palermo, Civitavecchia (Rome) and the return to Savona, with an additional stop in Naples, scheduled for departure on January 2.
Another novelty of the 2025-26 winter season is the itinerary dedicated to the Gulfs of Italy. Until December 2025, Costa Toscana will operate seven-day cruises departing from Savona. Stops include Marseille, Provence, its Old Port and the golden dome of Notre-Dame de la Garde and Barcelona, where modernist art meets the flavors of Catalonia. After a night stop in the Balearic Sea Darkest Spot (a Sea Destination where the ship turns off the lights to give an intense starry sky), the ship continues towards the Gulf of Naples, then on to Civitavecchia, and finally La Spezia, among the UNESCO World Heritage seaside villages of the Cinque Terre and the “Gulf of Poets.”
The Mediterranean is an increasingly popular destination for those seeking a temperate climate in winter. Costa Smeralda will also offer seven-day cruises in the western Mediterranean, departing from Genoa, stopping in Marseille, Barcelona, Balearic Sea Darkest Spot, Cagliari, Naples and Civitavecchia.
For guests who want to experience a shorter cruise, in autumn Costa offers mini cruises of three and four days in the western Mediterranean aboard Costa Favolosa.

From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean
Among the most desired destinations for a break in the heat is the Caribbean. Starting from December 2025, Costa Fascinosa and Costa Pacifica are jointly offering five one-week itineraries, alternating with each other, which can be combined into a single two-week holiday. Embarkations are available from Point-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) or Fort-de-France (Martinique) for Costa Fascinosa, and from La Romana (Dominican Republic) for Costa Pacifica.
Costa Fascinosa offers three itineraries: the first includes stops in Tortola, Santo Domingo, Catalina Island and Fort-de-France; the second explores the Netherlands Antilles, with stops in Philipsburg, Basseterre and again Santo Domingo, and with arrival in Saint Lucia on Christmas Day; and the third itinerary crosses Tortola again, Santo Domingo and Fort-de-France, and then arrives in St. John’s to celebrate New Year’s Eve onboard among the authentic Caribbean atmospheres of Antigua and Barbuda. Costa Pacifica, on the other hand, offers a full immersion in the Dominican Republic, with stops in Samanà, Amber Cove and Catalina Island, and a second itinerary to six Caribbean islands, including Tortola and Saint Lucia.
Explore the Canary Islands
The Canary Islands will be the focus with Costa Fortuna, which offers seven-day cruises departing from Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Itineraries include Madeira, Lanzarote, Las Palmas, La Gomera, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, among volcanic landscapes and golden beaches. For some departures the ship stops in Morocco for an opportunity to discover the colors and scents of Marrakech among the spices and the clamor of the souk, or to walk barefoot on the white sand of the beaches of Agadir.
The Far East Awaits
In Asia, Costa Serena will be engaged in a program of two different 14-day itineraries, which can also be combined for a longer holiday, with flights from Italy to explore China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei and the Philippines.
The itineraries are completed by the World Cruise aboard Costa Deliziosa, departing from Trieste on November 21, 2025. The 142-day voyage through South America, Polynesia, Australia, Asia and the Indian Ocean is designed for those who dream of exploring the planet in one epic cruise.
