Costa Announces New Asia Sailings on Renovated Costa Serena

Costa Cruises has announced a new itinerary inviting travelers to embark on a journey to discover some of Asia’s most captivating destinations. Departing Nov. 12, 2025, the cruise offers guests the opportunity to experience the enhanced Costa Serena after its scheduled dry dock in October 2025. 

This exclusive 10-day cruise is designed to immerse guests in the rich culture and natural beauty of East Asia—from the vibrant streets of Taiwan to the shores of Japan—paired with a fresh on-board experience that elevates comfort, cultural immersion and tailored service. 

The cruise is available for booking. The itinerary includes calls at:

  • Keelung, Taiwan – A gateway to Taipei’s vibrant street food, temples and night markets.
  • Jeju Island, South Korea – Known for its volcanic landscapes, waterfalls and traditional villages.
  • Busan, South Korea – A dynamic coastal city blending beaches, seafood markets and modern architecture.
  • Yatsushiro, Japan – Offering a glimpse into Kyushu’s cultural heritage and scenic coastline.
  • Nagasaki, Japan – A historic port city where east meets west, known for its scenic harbor, cultural landmarks and heritage sites. 

Embarkation is available from Hong Kong, China; Keelung; Busan; and Nagasaki, with flexible options including eight-, seven-, five- and four-day segments to suit different travel preferences.

The design of Costa Serena is inspired by  Greek gods. Highlights include the golden Atlas in the new Pummid’Oro Pizzeria and a 3D-printed cloud installation in the Main Hall.

On-board highlights to include new dining experiences blending authentic Italian flavors with Asian fusion; immersive entertainment inspired by mythological themes with a modern twist; a revitalized Solemio Spa offering new wellness rituals; and enhanced accommodations with redesigned cabins and new premium suite categories.

From November 21, 2025, to January 30, 2026, Costa Serena will alternate between two different 14-day itineraries. One itinerary will sail toward Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, with convenient embarkation options available from Hong Kong or Tokyo, Japan. The other itinerary will explore Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei and the Philippines, with embarkation options available from Hong Kong and Singapore. The two itineraries can be combined into a single 28-night holiday. 

Costa Serena will remain in Asia throughout 2026, continuing to offer its signature itineraries in the region.
