This holiday season, Costa Cruises will sail three of its ships around the Caribbean, each offering its own Christmas and New Year’s itinerary. Costa Deliziosa, Costa Magica and Costa Pacifica will visit ports in Florida, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, the Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and more.
On Christmas Day, each ship’s guests can participate in carol singing, exchange small gifts at a Christmas Tree celebration and see an artificial snow show. Cruises will also offer a Christmas mass, host separate arts and crafts sessions for adults and teens and serve specialty cocktails. New Year’s packages offer a laser lights party with a DJ and special nonalcoholic drinks for underage passengers.
Costa Deliziosa’s Christmas trip will leave from Port Everglades in Florida December 19 with stops in Nassau, Bahamas; Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos; Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; and Key West, Florida on Christmas. For New Year’s the ship will sail from Port Everglades December 26, replacing Nassau with Freeport, Bahamas and spending New Year’s Eve in Miami instead of Key West.
Costa Magica will sail from Guadeloupe’s Pointe-à-Pitre December 21, visiting Scarborough, Trinidad and Tobago; St. George’s, Grenada; Bridgetown, Barbados on Christmas day; Castries, St. Lucia; and Fort-de-France, Martinique. The ship’s New Year’s itinerary departs Guadeloupe December 28, calling in at Tortola; Philipsburg, Sint Maarten for New Year’s Eve; Antigua; Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and Martinique.
Costa Pacifica embarks for its Christmas cruise December 24 in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Guests spend the night in port, celebrating Christmas overnight and departing late December 25. The itinerary includes Catalina Island, Dominican Republic; Tortola; Martinique; Roseau, Dominica; Guadeloupe; and St. John’s, Antigua. The New Year’s cruise departs from La Romana December 31 and stops at Catalina Island, Tortola, Martinique and two locations in St. Maarten.
