Costa Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 World Cruise. Guests will embark in Savona, Italy, November 25, 2026, on an epic 139-day journey aboard Costa Deliziosa that explores five continents, 29 countries and 47 destinations. New for 2027, guests will have the opportunity to embark Costa’s world cruise in San Francisco, Calif., on January 3, 2027.
Costa Cruises was among the first companies to offer this journey starting in the 1970s, and for the 2027 World Cruise, it has designed a special itinerary, unveiling new and exclusive destinations. These include Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, a private island exclusively for Costa guests on the day of the visit, as well as iconic cities on the east and west coasts of the United States, the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Japan and Singapore and other destinations between Southeast Asia and Africa.
There are two booking options available for the World Cruise: the first allows guests to sail roundtrip from Savona and enjoy the full 139-day itinerary, departing November 26, 2026. The second option departs from San Francisco January 3, 2027, offering a unique 100-day journey that returns to Savona. This allows North American guests to easily access the cruise without an international flight.
Costa Deliziosa will circumnavigate the globe westwards. To further enhance the World Cruise, multi-day tours will allow guests to immerse in unique and memorable destinations.
In North America, the ship explores the east coast with calls at New York and Miami, Florida, and then the west coast with extended calls at the California cities of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles, where guests will experience the New Year's Eve and the opportunity to embark on overland helicopter tours to discover the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, Nevada.
The ship then sails to the archipelagos and islands of the Pacific, with calls in Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, and then through Oceania, with visits including Cairns and Sydney, Australia, and New Caledonia. The journey continues to Asia, with calls at Japan’s futuristic cities (a five-day overland tour is available to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagasaki, Hakone and Mount Fuji) and then to Hong Kong, China; Singapore and Vietnam.
After exploring the Maldives, the ship will sail the Indian Ocean, also landing in South Africa, where guests will be able to experience the thrill of a safari in Port Elizabeth. To wrap up the world cruise, the ship returns to the Mediterranean, concluding with an epic journey along the west coast of Africa in a northerly direction.
The 2027 edition of Costa Deliziosa’s World Cruise offers numerous overnight/multi-days calls in iconic destinations such as New York, Miami (Port Everglades), Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sydney and Tokyo.
Bookings for the 2027 World Cruise aboard Costa Deliziosa are now available at all travel agencies and on Costa Cruises’ official website: www.costacruises.com.
