CroisiEurope will launch a seven-day cruise on the Rhone in April 2019. The seven-day Must-See Sites on the Rhone itinerary will travel round trip from Lyon through France focusing on the food and wine that is found throughout this region. The cruise, onboard the new MS Rhone Princess, will visit Arles, Avignon, Viviers and Tain L’Hermitage. Prices start at $1,953 per person for departures from April through October 2019.
The highlight of the program will be an exclusive dinner at Abbaye de Collonges, a Paul Bocuse restaurant situated on the banks of the Saone (optional; can be added on for additional charge).
Guests who book this new Rhone itinerary before December 1, 2018 will received the optional dinner at Abbaye de Collonges added to their reservation for free.
Highlights of this new itinerary include:
- A guided tour of the Cite du Chocolat in Tain L’Hermitage which is located on the site of Valrhona’s historic chocolate factory where guests will discover the secrets of how chocolate is made and explore, smell and taste chocolate in all of its forms;
- A tasting of local specialties at the covered market of Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse including saucisson and cheese accompanied by a glass of wine;
- A dinner at Paul Bocuse’s Abbaye de Collonges where guests will order from a menu designed by chefs trained by Bocuse, who was known as ‘le Pape de gastronomie.’
Departures for this new seven-day Must-See Sites on the Rhone cruise run from April through October, 2019. Prices start at $1,953 per person and include all meals and drinks onboard plus excursions as described on the itinerary, insurances and port fees.
