Crystal has unveiled the Crystal Preview, a virtual experience taking guests 'through the lens' of select Crystal Experiences with 360-degree views of onboard spaces and itinerary locales through interactive videos on the company's website. Developed with EXP360 virtual reality technology to create videos throughout Crystal Serenity and Crystal Mozart, the Crystal Preview provides an immersive peek into vessels themselves, as well as locales and experiences offered on the Northwest Passage voyage, historic spots along the Danube, and more, Crystal said.
Crystal Preview is accessible from any Internet browser and allows guests to peruse videos that showcase spaces aboard the vessels and each ships' respective destinations. The Crystal Preview app allows travelers to navigate the 360-degree scope of the video from their handheld device. Similarly, guests can use their smartphone with a virtual reality headset for a comprehensive view of any space or destination, Crystal said.
Travelers can access the videos directly from Crystal’s website on any Internet browser. Additionally, the Crystal Preview app is available for Google Play and Apple devices, allowing viewers to download an unlimited number of 360ᵒ videos and create playlists of their favorites. Crystal plans to expand the Crystal Preview EXP360 technology to Crystal Symphony and Crystal Esprit in the fall of 2017. Among the selection of Crystal Preview 360ᵒ videos currently available are:
