The Crystal Mozart will be leaving the Crystal River Cruises fleet as of the start of the 2020 cruise season next spring. Crystal says that the ship will head to Genting Cruise Lines, which is part of Crystal parent company Genting Hong Kong, on a venture that will be announced at a later date.
Crystal Mozart’s last Crystal voyage available to the public will embark on December 2, 2019, from Vienna to Budapest. Guests who are booked aboard previously scheduled Crystal Mozart 2020 sailings will be accommodated on similar Danube itineraries offered by Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel.
The Crystal Mozart launched in the summer of 2016 as the inaugural ship for Crystal River Cruises. With the Crystal Mozart’s departure for Genting Cruise Lines, Crystal River Cruises’ fleet will comprise the Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel.
Each of Crystal River Cruises’ ships, which were newly built for the cruise line, are approximately 440 feet long with a capacity of 106 guests. The ships also have all-suite, all-balcony accommodations in which every room category is situated above the water line and offers Crystal’s personal butler service.
Additional features of Crystal’s river ships include farm-to-table cuisine in multiple, open-seating eateries: the Waterside Restaurant, namesake Bistro cafés and the exclusive Vintage Room; and the Palm Court for entertainment, enrichment presentations and sweeping views of the countryside.
