Five Expedia CruiseShipCenters locations in South Florida recently hosted their second annual travel expo. The event took place Saturday, September 21, at the Sheraton Suites Cypress Creek in Fort Lauderdale.
The South Florida Travel Expo hosted 28 cruise and land travel brands, drawing guest speakers from cruise lines including Azamara, AmaWaterways, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Viking Cruises. They discussed a variety of topics, such as new cruise ships and destinations, as well as unique sailing itineraries and the diverse offering of onboard activities. Meanwhile, Expedia CruiseShipCenters representatives from Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Imperial Point, Plantation and Weston were on hand to introduce attendees to the different travel options available to them.
All registered attendees were also entered into a raffle drawing to win a $1,000 travel gift certificate for any of the represented suppliers. Additionally, the travel expo partnered with 4KIDS to provide resources to children and young adults in need of foster care. Participants who brought new toiletries for donation such as shampoo, toothpaste, brushes or combs received an extra entry into the raffle to win a travel certificate of $1,000.
Expedia CruiseShipCenters offers cruise vacations and more through its 291 locations across North America. Comprising more than 6,700 vacation consultants, the company is part of the Expedia family of brands.
