Holland America Line Unveils New Mexico and Pacific Coast Sailings

Holland America Line has opened bookings for its 2026-27 Mexico and Pacific Coast seasons. The Pacific Coast season is highlighted by visits to the fjord-like waterways of British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest, while the Mexico season includes longer cruises of up to 12 days.

Koningsdam and Zaandam will sail the Mexico season, offering 16 departures on a eight different itineraries ranging from seven to 12 days. The cruises, which explore the Mexican Riviera, the Baja Peninsula and the Sea of Cortez, all sail either round-trip from San Diego or open-jaw between San Diego and Vancouver. Guests can explore Mexico through shore excursions in each port. For instance, from Mazatlan, a full-day tour to the colonial villages of the Sierra Madre is available. Additionally, the "Majahuitas Cove Catamaran Snorkel & Yelapa Bay Beach" excursion offers snorkeling and hiking opportunities.

The Pacific Coast season comprises 11 itineraries ranging from one to seven days. Cruises are available on five ships, which will sail from San Diego, Seattle and Vancouver on a variety of roundtrip and open-jaw voyages. Ports of call include Astoria, Santa Barbara and Ensenada, with select itineraries including an overnight in San Francisco.

Guests can also choose from two departures of a seven-day “Great Bear Rainforest” voyage aboard Noordam, sailing round-trip from Seattle. The cruise, calling at Ketchikan as well as a number of ports in British Columbia, provides guests with the opportunity to view wildlife like whales, eagles and the rare white-furred Kermode bear—also known as the spirit bear. In addition, guests aboard Noordam will experience a rare chance to sail the historic Inside Passage, including Bella Bella and the Grenville Channel.
