Hurtigruten has launched a newly redesigned travel agent portal, as well as a new Revelex integration.
The new Revelex integration allows current agent users to access all of Hurtigruten’s product offerings within their existing system. Revelex’s travel agent desktop provides a GDS interface with dynamic searches for air, car, hotel and cruise products.
The new agent portal, meanwhile, serves as the line’s single location for all travel engagement. There, travel agents can access brand and sales promotion information, use the marketing material resources bank for customizable templates and manage all itinerary planning and bookings in one location. The portal also now has more user-friendly navigation panes, cruise locator functions and more.
Hurtigruten said that it will add several new features and resources to the portal over the coming year. Agents who register with the new portal and make an online booking through January 31 are eligible for a $100 agent booking incentive.
The move comes as Hurtigruten is counting down to the launch of its newest ship. The new Fridtjof Nansen, a battery hybrid-powered expedition ship, completed its sea trials late last year. The hybrid power system reduces environmental impact. The ship’s inaugural voyage is scheduled for April 1, 2020.
