The MS Europa 2 catalog highlights a new summer cruise to Spitsbergen, continuation of the travel-format cruise program and free Internet for one hour per guest per day from January 2018. The 2018/2019 season will also see 17 new ports added to the program including Alghero/Sardinia and Sao Vicente/Cape Verde. Guests onboard will be able to experience varied routes with stops in small culture towns and tourist highlights. Setting sail in late January 2019, guests can embark on a 78-day combination cruise straight through Oceania.
The upcoming season will also offer travel-format cruises. Travel-format cruises will focus on themes that reflect the interest of their target groups: fashion, art, sport and music. Guests will have multifaceted formats to choose from in the new season:
- Fashion enthusiasts can attend the FASHION2NIGHT event on August 17, 2018 as part of the prelude to a three-day cruise.
- The IN2BALANCE cruise focuses on relaxation techniques from the Far East and innovative training methods. Guests can embark on one of seven IN2BALANCE cruises in the upcoming season.
- ART2SEA is dedicated to art with renowned art experts setting sail on select itineraries
- BE.YOU. is a program specially curated for the ship by Olympic ski champion, Maria Holf-Riesch. Holf-Riesch will beonboard four cruises to train alongside guests.
The next scheduled docking period for MS Europa 2 is in September 2017. During that time, she will be fitted with a number of improvements including an increased capacity of the ship's satellite systems. As a result, from 2018 forward, all passengers will receive one hour of free internet access per day. Guests staying in the Owner and Grand Penthouse Suites will continue to have free internet access at all times. Several areas of the ship will also be revamped during the docking period: guests will meet in the Collins instead of the Herenzimmer and the Jazz Club will be renamed Club 2.
