Cruise Planners Franchise Owner Launches App For LGBTQ+ Sailors

The MeetMeOnBoard cruise app for LGBTQ+ travelers has announced its debut. With MeetMeOnBoard, cruisers can discover fellow LGBTQ+ companions aboard their cruise, fostering connections before setting sail.

Tailored for the queer community, MeetMeOnBoard offers access to comprehensive LGBTQ+ resources: Travelers can gain insights into cruise brands committed to fostering inclusive environments; they can also receive updates on trending cruise information that will help them make informed decisions about their future travel plans.

Enhanced search functionalities powered by Cruise Planners’ technology enable travelers to discover queer-friendly cruises, while intuitive tracking features streamline voyage management. App users can create custom events, which can take place before or throughout the duration of their cruise. They can ask and answer specific questions about their cruise in the community forums or communicate directly with one another using the personal contact info located in their profile.

MeetMeOnBoard was founded in 2008 by Mark den Hartog and Dale McCurdy, and acquired in 2022 by Adam Martindale, a cruise veteran with over 30 years of experience in the travel sector. He spent the past year transforming MeetMeOnBoard into what it is today. Martindale said, “MeetMeOnBoard is thrilled to provide queer travelers a way to book cruises, coordinate trips and connect with each other before, during and after their cruise. We hope it will become their go-to LGBTQ+ resource for all of their future cruises and we can’t wait to meet them on board soon.”

The app is available for free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
