Oceania Cruises has launched a new initiative to aid humanitarian relief to hurricane stricken islands in the Caribbean as well as to raise awareness and restore tourism. The cruise line has pledged to donate $500 per stateroom for new bookings on select Caribbean voyages sailing from December 2017 through April 2018.
Partnering with All Hands Volunteers under the Hope Starts Here program, Oceania Cruises and its sister brands have promised to raise at least $2.5 million for relief efforts with the company committed to $1.25 million in matching donations from guests, team members, suppliers, and travel partners.
All select cruises depart from and return to Miami and make ports of call in popular cities such as Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Cayman Islands; Nassua, Bahamas; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Basseterre, Saint Kitts.
Eligible cruises are as follows:
- Sailing on Riviera: December 12 (10 days), December 22 (12 days), January 3, 2018 (10 days), January 13 (10 days), January 23 (14 days), February 6 (10 days), February 16 (10 days), February 26 (10 days), and March 8 (10 days).
