Poseidon Expeditions has officially launched the second phase of its anniversary sale, applicable to select polar cruises for reservations made by September 30, 2024. Guests can avail up to 15 percent discount on select cruises to the Arctic and Antarctic for the 2024-25 season.
In connection with the 75th anniversary of its partner, Swarovski Optik, the first 50 guests booking an anniversary special cruise receive Swarovski Optik CL Companion 10x30 binoculars with a retail value of approximately $1,550. These lightweight binoculars provide 10x magnification.
The anniversary deals include:
- For the 2024-25 Antarctic season, Poseidon offers savings of 15 percent from regular rates on four cruises ranging from 12 to 21 days, operated in November, December and January
- A complimentary gear rental package consisting of waterproof pants, mittens, backpack and hiking sticks
- For the 2025 Arctic season, Poseidon offers savings of 10 to 15 percent from regular rates (depending on cabin category) on five cruises ranging from 10 to 14 days, offered from mid-May through early July 2025.
Poseidon guests exploring the Arctic and Antarctica will journey aboard the Sea Spirit, designed for up to 100 guests. The limited number provides for extended time ashore. Activities and presentations are led by a team of experienced bilingual polar guides, naturalists and historians. Regular shore landings provide the opportunity to explore and partake in guided walks and workshops. Optional sea kayaking is offered on select cruises, as well as overnight camping in Antarctica.
