Regent Seven Seas Cruises had previously announced in January details of the Regent Suite on Seven Seas Splendor—set to debut in February 2020—but now the company is revealing additional details of all guest suite categories.
Last year, Travel Agent toured mock-ups of the Penthouse Suite and Concierge Suite at the Port of Ancona. Jason Montague, RSSC’s president and CEO, says these represent the bulk of suites on board Seven Seas Splendor.
The new accommodations are separated into two categories: Distinctive Suites and Spacious Suites.
Distinctive Suites
The Master, Grand, Splendor and Seven Seas suite categories are part of the 32 Distinctive Suites onboard Seven Seas Splendor. Designed to fuse comfort and luxury, the rooms include butler service, guaranteed dining reservations, customized pillows and bath products—along with other amenities.
The Distinctive Suites include:
- Master Suite—This two-bedroom suite is styled like an elegant Park Avenue apartment, with rich woods and touches of purple.
- Grand Suite—The Grand Suite has emerald design accents with rich grey, brown, and cream tones.
- Splendor Suite—Varying in size from 821 to 918 square feet, the one bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom Splendor Suites are designed with hues of cream, grey and brown.
- Seven Seas Suite—This suite offers over 800 square feet of space and aims for a cosmopolitan apartment ambiance with a soothing color palette complemented by plush furnishings.
Spacious Suites
The Penthouse, Concierge, Superior, Deluxe Veranda and Veranda suite categories are designed for cruisers to experience vast views of the ocean. Amenities include Elite Slumber beds, bigger closets, bathrobes and slippers and a mini-bar stocked daily.
The Spacious Suites include:
Penthouse Suite—With personalized butler service, the 55 sapphire-inspired Penthouse Suites come in three categories that range up to 642 square feet, with an entertainment center that separates the living room and bedroom.
Concierge Suite—This 464-square-foot suite aboard Seven Seas Splendor comes in two categories and is designed to maximize ocean views, with the custom-crafted Elite SlumberTM Beds facing the private balcony, allowing guests to witness the ocean scenery.
Superior Suite—The 464 square foot Superior Suite is filled with light and expansive ocean views.
Deluxe Veranda and Veranda Suites—The two-category Deluxe Veranda and Veranda suites on Seven Seas Splendor are up to 361 and 307 square feet respectively, placing them among the most spacious entry-level suites at sea.
Observation Lounge
In addition to suite designs, Regent has also announced the interior design of the Observation Lounge onboard Seven Seas Splendor. The Observation Lounge, designed by Studio DADO, is based on an English garden. Integrating a light and airy color palette, the Observation Lounge’s centerpiece consists of hand-painted porcelain flowers, peonies and roses. Traditional English architectural molding colored in neutral hues decorates the walls. The furniture’s soft curved forms and lush upholsteries are inspired by the fluid forms of flower petals to add to the tranquility of the space. Specially commissioned art by Gorman Studios incorporates hand-painted English roses and flowers on glass screens to reflect the look of porcelain chandeliers.
Over 46,000 square feet of Italian marble will decorate Seven Seas Splendor (over an acre of marble, including the marble plastered bathrooms in each of its 375 guest suites). Nearly 52,000 square feet of balcony space is found on the all balcony vessel, and approximately 500 crystal chandeliers will illuminate the ship’s interior.
A limited number of suites are available for sailings during Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural season. For more information, visit https://www.rssc.com/
