Riviera River Cruises is increasing the number of cruises it offers exclusively for solo travelers in fall 2019 to eight, with two additional departures on the Danube and Douro rivers. Guests will be able to travel without paying a single supplement.
Riviera’s solo traveler cruises launched last year on the Danube and Rhône rivers and have increased in both number of departure dates and itineraries available. The most recent additions are a November 1, 2019, departure of The Blue Danube River Cruise for Solo Travelers aboard the new 167-passenger MS William Wordsworth and a November 10, 2019, departure of The Douro, Porto & Salamanca River Cruise for Solo Travelers aboard the MS Douro Splendour.
Riviera’s fall 2019 solo traveler cruises now include:
- The Blue Danube River Cruise for Solo Travelers: Eight days starting at $2,189 per person, with departures on October 28, November 1 and November 4.
- Burgundy, the River Rhône & Provence River Cruise for Solo Travelers: Eight days starting at $2,529 per person, with departures on October 14 and October 31.
- The Douro, Porto & Salamanca River Cruise for Solo Travelers: Eight days starting at $2,889 per person, with departures on November 8 and November 10.
- Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg River Cruise for Solo Travelers: Eight days starting at $3,109, with a departure on October 21.
The single-supplement-free departures aren’t the only option solo travelers have with Riviera River Cruises. Additionally, a limited number of cabins are available single-supplement-free on every Riviera departure throughout the year.
