Riviera River Cruises has updated its group booking policy to make it easier to receive a free tour conductor bed. Now, one can receive a free tour conductor bed after seven guests are booked as part of a group, instead of a free bed after 10 guests are booked. The group booking policy still includes a maximum of four free tour conductor beds. In addition, Riviera will hold a special webinar on group bookings on Tuesday, March 21, at which a free cabin will be awarded for use as part of a group promotion.
Said Marilyn Conroy, executive vice president sales and marketing North America for Riviera River Cruises: “This updated policy is designed to encourage groups of smaller sizes to book—particularly family groups and travel advisors marketing Riviera as part of a ‘cruise with me’ promotion. We’re also happy to help advisors create fliers and digital presentations, and hold webinars and cruise nights. If you’re looking to book a group river cruise to Europe, we hope you’ll think of us first.”
Riviera’s group booking webinar will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday, March 21. Topics will include the new group policy, benefits of group bookings and destinations for groups. One travel advisor who attends will be awarded a free cabin to use with their own “cruise with me” promotion.
Riviera River Cruises offers a total of 21 itineraries on 10 European rivers and waterways throughout the year, including exclusive departures for solo travelers with no single supplement and holiday season cruises. Its fleet of 11 ships is one of the youngest in Europe, with spacious cabins and suites, and its cruises include fine culinary experiences, from breakfasts to four-course dinners with regional and international specialties, as well as expert-led excursions to iconic sights and hidden gems.
