Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. has rolled out a new feature for its travel agent reservation system, Espresso. Stateroom Planner gives travel agents the ability to adjust the details for up to four staterooms at a time when booking individual and group reservations.
When pulling up Espresso, travel agents will now see the new Stateroom Planner widget. Users will be able to view and customize staterooms by occupancy, promotional preferences, stateroom categories, cruise packages, air or cruise only, loyalty number, accessibility and more. Additionally, the new feature will automatically cross reference guests’ details prior to finalizing the booking.
Stateroom Planner comes on the heels of other new additions to Espresso. Travel agents can now transfer individual client bookings into group reservations. Through this feature, travel professionals may also email transfer confirmations and view warning details. Espresso also added the ability to book into headquarter groups and compare individual and group pricing and availability side by side.
Espresso is the travel agent reservation system for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises. The system’s other features include: redeeming, sharing and purchasing Group Amenity Plus points; the ability to view customers’ history, recent promotions they received, previous cruises taken and their accommodation preferences; a streamlined interface for viewing groups; and interactive deck plans.
