With just over a year until Scenic Eclipse makes its debut, Scenic has announced a new voyage to Cuba
The 14-day Cuba in Depth sailing, which is scheduled to depart Miami on October 5, 2018, has been added to the company’s offerings. Ports of call include Havana, Isla de la Juventud, Cayo Largo Sur, Cienfuegos, Casilda, Santiago de Cuba and Antilla.
This cruise is in addition to a Cuba in Depth sailing scheduled to depart Miami on October 18, 2018.
In Havana, guests will be able to enjoy two exclusive People-to-People Scenic Enrich experiences, including a private performance of Cuban percussion drums and dancing, as well a front row seat at Castillo del Morro – the tradition of the firing the cannon.
The cruise will include several overnight stops, giving guests more time on the ground with local guides and locals, as well as opportunities to experience Cuba’s bustling nightlife.
Scenic offers 41 People-to-People Freechoice activities across the eight ports, ranging from a horse and carriage ride around Havana’s historic city center and a visit to meet with cigar factory workers to a visit to Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and a dance lesson in Antilla.
The ultra-luxury mega yacht can carry 228 guests and will be launched in the Mediterranean on August 31, 2018. There are 10 dining locations, a 5,900 square foot Spa Sanctuary, eight bars and lounges that offer unlimited complimentary beverages, butler service, and multiple pools.
Scenic Eclipse will also sail to Antarctica and the Arctic Circle, Mediterranean sojourns, and South America.
