CroisiEurope has inaugurated its newest cruise ship, the MS Douce France II.
The ship is the product of a complete renovation of the former MS Douce France. The redesign added more open spaces and natural light, CroisiEurope reports. The ship now has a capacity of 106 passengers at double occupancy, with 55 double occupancy cabins, four single occupancy cabins, two suites and one cabin designed for passengers with reduced mobility. All cabins have air conditioning, one double bed that can be separated into two twin beds, a private bathroom, flatscreen television, radio, hair dryer and safe. All upper deck cabins have French balconies. The ship’s public spaces include a bar and lounge with dance floor, restaurant, sun deck with chaise lounges and a boutique.
The MS Douce France II is a sibling ship of the MS Symphonie II, which was inaugurated March 17. In all the river cruise line is adding five new ships this year, including MS Miguel Torga, which joined the fleet in Porto at the end of March. A fourth and fifth ship are set to make their debut in August and December, respectively.
CroisiEurope has also inked a number of new partnerships with tour operators and host agencies. The river cruise line was recently named a preferred supplier for OASIS Travel Network, offering top commission status to OASIS’ 600+ independent contractor members. Additionally, CroisiEurope just partnered with Classic Vacations to offer its portfolio of river, canal and coastal cruises in Europe, Asia and Africa to travel agents enrolled in the Classic Connections program.
