Tall ship cruise company Star Clippers announced that its 2020 itineraries will feature new destinations in the southeast Asia and Mediterranean.
In southeast Asia, Star Clipper will call on Cambodia for the first time during a new 11-night round trip sailing out of Ko Samui, Thailand. Ports will include Koh Rong, an island with dense forests and white sandy beaches, and Sihanoukville, a coastal city with beaches and fresh seafood. Guests on this itinerary will be able to choose an optional, overnight excursion to Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. The cruise company will also be adding new port calls throughout Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia.
In Europe, three of Royal Clipper’s itineraries will call in at new ports. The seven-night Corsica, Sardinia & the Riviera cruise, sailing out of Cannes, will visit the towns of Propriana in Corsica and Stintino in Sardinia. In Croatia, Star Clippers will add three new stops. The seven-night Croatia & Montenegro sailing out of Venice will stop at Zadar and Korcula and the 11-night Italy, Montenegro & Croatia itinerary will now call on Vis island.
Star Clippers has offered cruises aboard modern tall ship sailing vessels for over 25 years. Its fleet includes the 170-guest Star Clipper and Star Flyer and the 227-guest Royal Clipper. The company plans to debut its newest ship, the Flying Clipper, later this year.
