Virgin Voyages, the lifestyle and travel brand launched by Sir Richard Branson, has introduced its latest Lady ship—Valiant Lady.
This March, Valiant Lady will operate cruises from the ports of London International Cruise Terminal in Tilbury and Liverpool ahead of its limited bookable "MerMaiden" voyage from Portsmouth before returning to its homeport in Barcelona in May.
Tom McAlpin, CEO of Virgin Voyages, said in a press release, “The lifting of U.K. travel restrictions has already shown promising signs with 70 percent uplift in bookings since December—and we can’t wait to welcome sailors onboard.”
Valiant Lady follows the globally celebrated debut of its sister ship Scarlet Lady, and has 1,330 cabins and 78 RockStar Quarters and two Massive Suites, which have their own turntables and private hot tub. Onboard Valiant Lady, 86 percent of cabins offer a balcony, while 93 percent feature ocean views. They also offer increased drawers and storage space, ideal for longer itineraries.
A range of entertainment, health and wellness facilities, besides fine-dining experiences curated by Michelin-starred chefs can be found on Valiant Lady, whose itineraries feature longer port stays and overnights in such European cities as Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza.
Deal: For a limited time, sailors can book any voyage on any ship and get 20 percent discount along with a $100 toward their prepaid Bar Tab, plus an extra 10 percent discount if they pay in full.
