VIVA Cruises Launches New VIVA Boutique Line

VIVA Cruises has launched its new VIVA Boutique line, a holistic concept that combines the amenities of a boutique hotel with the experiences of a river cruise. Launching in 2026, Viva Beyond will be VIVA Cruises’ first boutique ship.

The 116-guest Viva Beyond, part of the Scylla shipping company’s fleet, will undergo a comprehensive renovation in early 2026 to align with the new premium brand. The new addition to the fleet will have 12 suites, four junior suites and, for the first time, 10 master suites. It will also offer three restaurants alongside wellness spaces. Guests will be able to enjoy French delicacies once per trip, as well as a “VIVA Signature” experience in one of the shore excursions.

Viva Beyond will set off on its inaugural voyage in May 2026, with an eight-day cruise round-trip from Paris via Normandy to the Atlantic Coast, and back. All guests on the inaugural voyage can enjoy two shore excursions on the theme of “Impressionism,” included in the fare. Good to know: Viva Beyond will also have a comprehensive “VIVA All-Inclusive” product, which includes everything onboard. Travelers staying in a master suite will enjoy additional benefits, however, including in-room breakfast, seasonal dishes and an aperitif with the captain and hotel manager. They will also receive the best choice of table in the restaurants and an exclusive shore excursion, included in the tour price.

The new VIVA Boutique concept will offer three tours dedicated to the main themes of “Culinary,” “Culture & Lifestyle” and “Impressionism.” The first of the tours, “Culinary,” will take guests to the castle ruins of Château Gaillard, built by Richard the Lionheart. After their guided visit, guests will be able to enjoy local cuisine on a traditional apple farm.

The “Culture & Lifestyle” signature excursion will offer a tour of the Renaissance castle of La Roche-Guyon near the Seine River, revealing a variety of architectural styles, accompanied by stories of the different eras that shaped the building.

The third signature excursion, “Impressionism,” is centered around Auvers-sur-Oise, a village that hosted Impressionist artists such as Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro and Henri Rousseau. The excursion also includes a visit to the Musée d’Orsay and the Étretat Gardens, with views of the Alabaster Coast and the Atlantic Ocean.
