The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, DCT Abu Dhabi, will visit Canada for the first time on its North American roadshow. The trip will also be the first time DCT Abu Dhabi partners with the Dubai Tourism Board.
Some of Abu Dhabi’s tourism groups will join DCT Abu Dhabi along the way as it meets with travel agents and tour operators in cities across North America. These groups will include Etihad Airways, Jumeirah Group, Yas Experiences and Arabian Adventures.
The tour will stop in Vancouver, Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto from June 25-28. The roadshow will pick up again in the United States in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and Orange County from August 6-10.
DCT Abu Dhabi’s tour will highlight the recent opening of Louvre Abu Dhabi, the upcoming Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, new hotels such as the upcoming Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort and recently opened Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi, and the city’s various retail, entertainment and culinary options.
DCT Abu Dhabi promotes the heritage and culture of Abu Dhabi and encourages the emirate’s progress towards becoming both a compelling and sustainable place to visit. It manages Abu Dhabi’s tourism business and markets the emirate around the world through endeavors like the upcoming North American roadshow.
