Insomniac has announced that Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas will move from Father’s Day weekend in June to May in 2018 and introduce an array of new experiential elements. North America’s largest dance music festival will return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for its 22nd edition on Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20.
Tickets for the three-day dusk to dawn gathering are on sale now, offering fans the option to camp for the first time, enjoy extended festival hours with early-entry opening ceremonies, access multiple ticketing tiers and affordable layaway plans, and discover new experiences.
The venue will have all the necessary amenities and safety services to ensure its guests have a satisfactory experience. Services include water refill stations, battery charging stations, lockers to store personal items, info booths, a general store for basic necessities that guests forgot to bring, ATMs, and a full staff of safety and medical professionals throughout the event.
An Insomniac Ground Control team will also be walking around the grounds of the music festival to make sure that guests are receiving these amenities and staying healthy. Guests can spot them by their purple shirts and fanny packs, and are encouraged to approach them with questions.
In addition to the live music, the Electric Daisy Carnival will have carnival rides (including a Ferris wheel and bumper cars), three-dimensional art exhibitions, and a variety of performers like dancers, aerialists, and circus performers.
The festival will take place rain or shine, and guests must be 18+ to enter and 21+ for alcohol/VIP access. For more information, visit lasvegas.electricdaisycarnival.com.
