The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) was a participant in the final two episodes of ABC’s “The Bachelor” season 27. The episodes used Thailand as home for the week for the newest Bachelor, Zach Schallcross, with the season finale and its final rose ceremony and proposal taking place in the Krabi province.
While in Thailand, cast and crew of the show stayed in the luxurious Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. Beyond its golf course, the resort offers a spa, and several dining options, such as the elegant White Lotus restaurant. The three contestants stayed in different hotels, including Nakamanda Resort, The Elements Resort and Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort. These luxury accommodations offered a range of experiences, from tropical seclusion to modern comfort.
The first overnight date took the contestants to the vibrant Pudam Night Market and Krabi Walking Street, where they were able to immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy street food. The evening ended with a romantic dinner at White Lotus and a luxurious stay in a two-bedroom pool villa at Nakamanda. The second overnight date took the contestants on a junk boat to Koh Poda Island, where they could relax on the beach, swim and snorkel. The day was capped off with a meal at Na Mi Chai Café and a stay in a Venice Villa Krabi Resort. The third overnight date was an exciting kayaking trip along the Klong Srakaew river, which offered stunning views of the lush jungle and towering cliffs. The evening was spent in style at the Banyan Tree Krabi's Presidential Villa.
The last date activities included horseback riding on the beach near Café de Rimlay and a visit to the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park and its waterfall. The family meeting, where the contestants got to meet the Bachelor's family, was held at the Villa Saifon, a serene villa that offers privacy and comfort. The final rose ceremony took place at the picturesque Poonsiri Resort, where the Bachelor had to make difficult decisions and eliminate contestants. The journey culminated in a proposal at the Aqua Beach Club & Restaurant, where the Bachelor got down on one knee and popped the question to the lucky winner.
