The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) has released a number of itineraries from its members for travelers headed to the Philippines. For tourists, the country has more than 22,000 miles of coastline and several cities to visit.
The USTOA has provided the following sample vacation itineraries.
- SITA World Tours’ “Manila & Boracy Sojourn”: This itinerary takes guests on a half-day tour of Old Manila before traveling to Boracay, a small island south of the capital Travelers can get massages or yoga lessons on the beach or a boat ride. Available throughout 2018 from $695 per person. www.sitatours.com
- “Phillippines Palawan Island Getaway”: This nine-day trip lets guest interact with the Batak tribe and witness daily life via a local guide. The itinerary includes two nights on a private beach and local cuisine at Kainato, a local restaurant that employs people with disabilities. Departures available bi-weekly from December to May in 2018 and 2019 from $1,630 per person. www.intredpidtravel.com
- Avanti Destinations’ “Phillippines Escapes”: This eight-day vacation takes guests to Philippines’ beaches that have year-round accessibility. Included are four nights at the Miniloc Resort. - Goway Travel’s “Palawan El Nido”: This four-day trip will be spent in the El Nido site with white sand beaches, which is considered “The Phillipines’ Last Frontier.” Available through October 2018 from $961 per person. www.goway.com.
