Just last month, Travel Agent covered Palazzo Las Vegas' newest hangout: The Aquatic Club, a retro-inspired pool club with music, food and an especially stylish staff. The new pool adds to an expansive list of pools and day clubs in Sin City. We've compiled a list of must-hit pools and their respective events for your clients summer trip:
Wet Republic at MGM Grand
Wet Republic at MGM Grand boasts 6,000 square feet of pool areas—with all saltwater pools. The pool club also offers six VIP private dipping pools; cabanas with HDTVs, dance floor tables with seating for up to 10 guests, and daybeds—king-sized beds with seating for four-six people.
This summer, Wet Republic is hosting an array of events, including: Tiesto, Grand Opening Weekend with Steve Aoki, and Endless Sundays with a collection of artists ranging from Lil Jon and Zedd to Kaskade and Afrojack for Memorial Day Weekend.
Mandalay Beach at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
With 2,700 tons of real sand and a 1.6-million-gallon wave pool, your client will likely forget they're in the middle of a bustling city. The Mandalay Beach at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino has 100 rentable cabanas, day beds, bungalows and personalized villas. Also set among Mandalay Beach is the Toptional Moorea Beach Club with dipping pools, cushioned chaise lounges, daybeds and a private pavilion.
From May through September, guests can enjoy the Mandalay's Beach Concert Series while wading in the pool or lounging in the sand. This summer, the concert series is bringing in performances from Randy Houser, Lifehouse and Rebolution, among many more.
Sky Beach Club at Tropicana Las Vegas
Sky Beach Club, one of the more recent pool experiences to debut in Las Vegas, offers live music performances, events hosted by celebrities and a 37,603-square-foot South Beach-inspired venue. Inside, the venue boasts two pools, a whirlpool hot tub, two main bars and a large pool deck lined with lounge chairs, palm trees and tropical foliage. Guests can also reserve private day beds and VIP cabanas, as well as the Cabana Hot Tub.
Past guests say that Sky Beach Club offers a more of a 'Spring Break vibe' where the focus is on the crowd and crowd interactions rather than big DJs. The beach club is not open for the 2017 summer season just yet and event details have not been announced.
Wynn Las Vegas Encore Beach Club
Encore Beach Club at Wynn Las Vegas
Encore Beach Club offers twenty six cabanas—each with a refrigerator, flat screen TV and daybed—and eight bungalows with private bathrooms, an infinity dipping pool, and a view of the Las Vegas strip from a private balcony.
This summer, Encore Beach Club will welcome weekly performances by big time DJs including Diplo, David Guetta, Kygo and The Chainsmokers along with several special guests.The pool is open Friday - Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a special nighttime pool party, dubbed "NightSwim," happening Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m and at the resort's XS Nightclub on Sunday nights
Venus European Pool Lounge at Caesars Resort & Casino
If your client is seeking an adults-only getaway, look no further. Venus European Pool Lounge caters to guests 21 and up with a 10,000-square-foot oasis offering 14 cabanas, 16 day beds, 10 couches and plenty of chaise lounge chairs. Venus Pool offers high-end food and beverage choices, topped with fresh fruit and local ingredients. Poolside treats include sushi rolls, salads, sandwiches and burgers.
To make the most of the pool club experience, guests can book one of Qua Baths & Spa poolside spa services, including deep tissue massages and a chilled leg treatment.
