The Neon Museum in Las Vegas has announced the dates for its 2018 run of Hot Yoga in the Boneyard. The event lasts an hour and takes place on Saturdays throughout the summer from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. This year has nine dates: June 23, July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4, August 11, August 18 and August 25.
Yoga classes will be led by a certified instructor, Eileen Lorraine. Each session will consist of a 60-minute session set to Las Vegas-inspired music.
Sessions will be held on the Neon Museum’s outdoor patio, in the shaded are of the Neon Boneyard. Here, temperatures are expected to rise to 100 degrees or more. Those who come should plan on bringing their own water, yoga mat, towel and any additional equipment they may want. The Neon Museum will not provide any yoga gear.
Participants must be 18 years or older to or be 16 years and accompanied by an adult guardian. Each session costs $18 for the public and $13 for members of the Neon Museum. Reservations can be made on the museum’s website.
The Neon Museum is a non-profit group focused on preserving and presenting iconic Las Vegas signs. The museum is located on a 2.27-acre campus and is made up of the Neon Boneyard, an outdoor exhibition space, the North Gallery, the new Boulevard Gallery outdoor exhibit space and its visitors’ center. The museum also has nine restored signs throughout Las Vegas, installed as public art pieces.
