Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer will open its newest location at The Venetian Las Vegas on December 30, bringing its burgers and viral milkshakes to the Las Vegas Strip. The opening marks Black Tap’s first expansion in the U.S. beyond its four New York City locations.
Since opening in New York’s SoHo neighborhood in 2015, Black Tap has received worldwide acclaim for its burgers and signature "CrazyShake" milkshakes. The restaurant is helmed by Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori and restaurateur/nightclub developer Chris Barish. Isidori is a seasoned Las Vegas chef, having earned his coveted Michelin star while serving as executive chef of DJT. A Vegas hospitality veteran, Barish is behind some of the most successful nightclubs and restaurants in the country including Light, Martini Park, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill and Gordon Ramsay Steak.
“Las Vegas is a second home to me, making this opening incredibly special,” said Barish in a written release.
The menu will have Black Tap’s craft burgers, including: the All-American Burger and the award-winning Greg Norman Burger, with wagyu beef, house buttermilk-dill blue cheese and arugula; Black Tap’s signature chicken items like the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and award-winning Spicy Korean BBQ wings, toasted with sesame seed and scallion and served with buttermilk-dill dressing; and a variety of sides including hand cut fries and crispy Brussel sprouts. Black Tap’s famous CrazyShake menu will include the original Cotton Candy strawberry shake with a blue and pink pearl chocolate rim, a pink lollipop, rock candy, whipped cream and cotton candy, and newcomer the Bam Bam Fruity Pebbles shake, with a fruity pebbles rim and a Rice Krispies treat, a strawberry pop tart and a Laffy Taffy rope. Black Tap Las Vegas will feature a brand new beverage menu, including new cocktails, boozy Crazyshake milkshakes and a craft beer menu with drafts from Las Vegas and other regional breweries.
Black Tap Las Vegas will be located adjacent to The Venetian Poker Room, and will have patio dining that overlooks the resort’s scenic outdoor canals. Designed by Rockwell Group, the burger and beer joint will offer a casual vibe reminiscent of a classic American luncheonette with a distinctly New York feel. The location will offer Black Tap’s first Crazyshake Bar, giving customers an up-close view of Black Tap’s famous milkshakes in the making. The island fixture is made of glass candy display cases, with white glazed subway tile walls, a custom shake mosaic floor inlay, and a brick barrel cove ceiling creating an urban feeling. A nod to Black Tap’s original SoHo location, bar-height seating overlooking the casino is featured at the restaurants entry. The restaurant has 138 seats inside and 52 outdoor dining seats.
