Las Vegas is embracing the spirit of the holidays this winter, transforming into a winter wonderland for visitors looking to celebrate. Travelers will find a plethora of holiday lights, outdoor festivities, themed activities, and more this year.
The LINQ Promenade: Debuting Winter PARQ with the lighting of their 35-foot holiday tree on the Fountain Stage in addition to a brand-new holiday show, Lights at The LINQ. Additionally, over 2,000 lights synchronized with music will be a show for guests, while nightly live music and snowfall in Winter PARQ will help get travelers in the holiday spirit.
The Ice Rink at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: Overlooking the Boulevard, the 4,200 square-foot rink will allow guests to enjoy the outdoors. Roasting s’mores, light snow showers, and beverages will also be available for guests to enjoy. On Mondays, skaters can watch two holiday classics on the digital marquee.
The Bellagio Conservatory: From November 27 on, the Conservatory will display its winter theme. A polar bear family and a 42-foot-tall tree are the focal points of the floral arrangements. New this year is a Bellagio-themed train station with two 10-foot trains adorned with 1,200 roses while four animated toy soldiers stand guard. The resort will also decorate for the season with displays throughout the lobby and other public areas.
Wynn Las Vegas: The resident horticulturalists will transform the resort into another winter wonderland with five distinct fantasy villages, including 33 embellished holiday trees, thousands of poinsettias in shades of ivory and gold, and seasonal lighting throughout.
Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas: Students from the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts choir will perform holiday favorites in the Sky Lobby from December 19-22. Seasonal treats and teas will be available throughout December at the Nutcracker Tea at The Tea Lounge, and guests can even participate in Sips with a Master Sommelier – Year End Bubbles, More Than Just Champagne for a chance to blind taste sparkling wines for a unique holiday celebration.
Neon Museum: The museum will host December to Remember, where guests can partake in ornament-making and photo ops with Santa, and enjoy hot chocolate and caroling by the Las Vegas Academy choir in the illuminated Neon Museum Boneyard.
Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway: Las Vegas' largest holiday drive-thru light show with more than 3 million lights across a 2.5-mile course that intertwines with the Speedway. Glittering Lights is open nightly through January 7.
The Smith Center: Throughout November and December, two holiday shows will be playing for fans of the performing arts. Irving Berlin's White Christmas will be performed during November, while the Nevada Ballet Theater will be performing The Nutcracker weekends during December.
The Adventuredome at Circus Circus: The first-ever Holi-Dome will take over of the five-acre theme park includes special performances by bands, dancers, and carolers. Guests can also enjoy holiday drinks and treats, and photos inside a giant snow globe.
The Park: The recently-opened area between New York-New York Hotel & Casino and Monte Carlo Resort and Casino will have a 60-foot-tall tree with 13,000 lights. Toshiba Plaza, directly outside the T-Mobile Arena, will have an ice rink as well.
The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village: One of Vegas’s longest running holiday traditions, their mini forest will be decorated in holiday fashion, while centered around one large tree. Additional seasonal activities, rides, treats, and events will be available.
Fremont Street Experience: Host of the 12th annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run (benefitting Opportunity Village); 9,000 Santas will participate in a 5K on December 3. Fremont’s tree lighting ceremony will be held on the 6th, and the Grand Menorah Lighting Ceremony will take place on the 24th.
Downtown Summerlin: Just a few minutes off the Strip, Downtown Summerlin will have an array of winter activities including a tree lighting ceremony, parade, plenty of shopping, and the Rock Rink will have multi-colored light shows choreographed to music every hour. In addition, Downtown Summerlin will celebrate Chanukah with four nights of activities from December 26-29.
Town Square Las Vegas: Town Square Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with a 45-foot-tall Christmas tree and falling snow. Throughout November and December, visitors can enjoy Snow in the Square and Holiday Nights & Lights Community Concerts, where local school choirs will perform classic carols.
Ethel M Chocolates’ Botanical Cactus Garden: Over 1 million lights will adorn the 300 species of plants for guests to enjoy through January 1. Guests will also have the chance to see the newly revealed factory store and Chocolate Tasting room while local choirs perform on weekends.
Tivoli Village: Friday nights after Thanksgiving will have aerialists, dancers, elves, and more perform for guests throughout the streets. The Winter Wonderland shows will culminate in a snowfall.
The Palazzo Waterfall Atrium & Gardens: Every year, the Atrium is decked out in holiday décor, including frosted trees, poinsettias and more.
Four Season Hotel Las Vegas: Will debut its 18th annual gingerbread display, created by pastry chef Jean-Luc Dual, as well as the installation of an 18-foot holiday tree plus other decorations.
