Vietjet has signed an Interline Agreement with German operator and service distributor Hahn Air, enabling Vietjet to sell its flights on Hahn Air’s booking system. The agreement will making booking more convenient for Vietjet customers, connecting them to new customer bases.
Per the agreement, Hahn Air will sell Vietjet’s tickets on Hahn Air’s HR-169 ticket system. Hahn Air covers 190 markets and cooperates with more than 300 air, rail, and shuttle partners, in addition to 95,000 travel agencies. Its network of HR Ticketing Centres includes 5,000 agencies worldwide that receive additional benefits. Hahn Air is a member of the IATA.
Vietjet will continue to expand interline cooperation with other airlines around the world, looking to ease customers’ ticket booking from every country. Vietjet will simultaneously expand its global operation, as well as building its Interline standard operation and payment procedures, which will aid their Interline cooperation with other airlines.
Vietjet has grown its operations and revenue base substantially over the last 18 months, adding new domestic routes and connecting more ASEAN destinations to its key Vietnam hubs. Vietjet achieved a Top 500 Brands in Asia 2016 award and “Best Asian Low Cost Carrier” at the TTG Travel Awards 2015. The airline was also rated as one of the top three fastest growing airline brands on Facebook in the world by Socialbakers.
