Xplor Bravest Race, an off-road race in Riviera Maya, is returning for its eighth edition. Titled “Nomad,” the race will take place on September 18, 2022, at Grupo Xcaret’s Xplor Park with a capacity for 3,500 people who can participate in one of 14 different sessions starting at 8 a.m. The registration for the event is now open for interested participants.
Bravest Race is an obstacle race through impressive natural settings, including the Quintana Roo jungle, which includes the jungle, cavern traps, cenotes (sinkholes), rock walls, underground rivers, and more. This is said to be a challenge that is not only about defying personal limits, but also about supporting one's team to conquer all obstacles throughout the journey.
The eighth edition of the Bravest Race will consist of 3.4 miles with more than 40 obstacles. It will circuit through caverns, mud and water, testing the strength and stamina of all participants while promoting the preservation of the planet through positive sustainable and environmental practices. Race participants will run, swim, jump, roll, and crawl through a multitude of obstacles.
“We are very excited for the return of Bravest Race and the addition of obstacles so that participants can defy their limits and test their abilities in unbelievable settings. This is a must attend race,” said Marco Hernández Díaz, director of operations for Adventure Parks.
Participants can register individually, as a group or for a VIP experience. Space is limited, and the race has been at full capacity in previous editions. Registrations are now open at www.xplorbravestrace.com.
