The 252-room property provides several restaurants and bars, including a beachfront grill and jazz lounge. The location will also feature the hotel chain’s award-winning Angsana Spa, which offers Asian-inspired spa treatments. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, gym and a wedding venue.
The Trump Administration recently added the property to its Cuba Restricted List, a selection of properties Americans are not allowed to visit because the Cuban military owns them.
Angsana Cayo Santa Maria is located on a private island off Cuba's northern coast and is accessible via a 30-mile causeway from the Cuba mainland. It is a member of Banyan Tree Group’s Angsana brand. Angsana hotels are designed to be adventurous destinations and to mix local chic with a vibrant fun-filled atmosphere.
