Hotel Rio Guayas is situated in the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas, on the traditional street Numa Pompilio Llona, the first neighborhood of Guayaquil with over 400 years of history. Declared a cultural heritage site in 1982, Las Peñas is home to many historical figures, including presidents, musicians, poets, and even Che Guevara, who served as a pediatrician in the area.
Hotel Rio Guayas will offer furnished guestrooms and suites, a selection of gourmet restaurants and bars, a full-service spa, outdoor pool, and event spaces equipped with modern technology, and views of the Guayas River. The hotel will also serve as a cultural hub, showcasing a collection of local art. It will also host regular exhibitions and cultural events.
