Waves Resort & Spa and Treasure Beach Art Hotel in Barbados have joined the Autograph Collection, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio. This announcement marks a significant milestone for both all-inclusive properties: As part of the Autograph Collection, Waves Resort & Spa and Treasure Beach Art Hotel will continue to offer their blend of Caribbean elegance with a refreshed modern look. In preparation for this affiliation, both resorts have undergone extensive multimillion-dollar renovations following parent company Elegant Hotels Group's acquisition by Marriott International in 2019 as part of its first all-inclusive push.
Waves Resort & Spa, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort in Barbados is popular for its beachfront location, holistic wellness offerings and all-inclusive amenities. With 70 keys and adults-only and family areas, the resort also offers a spa and dining options including Dosa, Seascape and Kýma. Guests can enjoy a variety of water sports, all set against the backdrop of Barbados’ west coast.
Treasure Beach Art Hotel, an Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort is an adults-only retreat with 35 suites, refreshed dining experiences such as Tapestry and Batik Bar, and curated cultural activities that showcase the art and heritage of Barbados.
Waves Resort & Spa and Treasure Beach Art Hotel are the first two resorts to complete extensive renovations and transition into Marriott International’s brands. Other resorts on the island, which also belonged to Elegant Hotels, including The House, Tamarind and Colony Club, are expected to join Autograph Collection and The Luxury Collection later this year.
As members of the Autograph Collection, Waves Resort & Spa and Treasure Beach Art Hotel will participate in Marriott International’s loyalty program, Marriott Bonvoy.
