As Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts celebrates its 30th anniversary, the brand has announced a €128 (approximately $133) million investment in renovations and upgrades across its portfolio. The investment plan for 2025 includes refurbishments across Bahia Principe properties in Mexico, Mallorca, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, with a focus on infrastructure, public spaces and back-office enhancements.
Notable highlights include:
- Bahia Principe Luxury Tenerife – The Bahia Principe Sunlight Tenerife in Costa Adeje will undergo a complete transformation to become the new Bahia Principe Luxury Tenerife Adults Only, set to open this December.
- Bahia Principe Grand Tequila – The property will debut on December 1, 2025, as a new adults-only hotel with a vibrant atmosphere inspired by Mexican culture, offering immersive entertainment tailored to its adult clientele.
- Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana – A phased renovation of this resort will include lobby, restaurant and pool refurbishments, alongside ongoing guestroom upgrades as part of a broader renewal strategy.
- Expansion in Jamaica – By the end of 2025, construction will begin on Bahia Principe’s third hotel in Jamaica, set within a larger real estate, tourism and sports complex, reinforcing the brand’s footprint in the Caribbean.
In total, 1,260 rooms will be renovated this year.
