Apple Vacations provides vacation packages from U.S. departure cities to places like Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Hawaii and Cuba. In the early 90’s, Apple Vacations started recognizing hotels with Golden Apple awards based on ratings from post-vacation surveys. In 1995, the Crystal Apple Award started to distinguish important people of the travel industry for quality and innovation. Apple Vacations is the only company of its kind to rate hotels using customer feedback as the only metric.
