Pompano Beach, FL, Marriott to Undergo Full Renovation

Key International and Wexford Real Estate Investors have initiated the renovation of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa, FL. This project will encompass the beachfront resort pool and spa, all 219 guestrooms and suites, lobby, restaurant, bar and guest arrival experience.

The development firms tapped design studio Urban Robot Associates for the project. The renovation comes during significant growth and development for Pompano Beach. The area has experienced a surge of new residential high-rises, set to transform the beachside skyline, while an influx of new beachside businesses is expected to follow. This development boom is increasing demand for high-end hospitality options, making Pompano Beach an increasingly attractive destination for both residents and visitors.

The first phase of renovation will focus on a complete redesign of the resort’s beachfront pool, amenities and the guestrooms and suites housed in the North Tower. The pool area will offer a new zero-entry pool, lush landscaping, new furnishings and enhanced amenities. This phase is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2025.

The renovation project’s second phase focuses on the South Tower guestrooms and suites, and public spaces on the ground floor. This phase is slated for completion by the second quarter of 2025.

Key International and Wexford Real Estate Investors have collaborated on hospitality, development and investment deals in Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale Beach and more.
